My hubby & I have shared the same ancient vehicle for over a decade.
Our schedules constantly worked out so that it was not absolutely a large deal.
But recently, I took a better job a little further away. It is no longer possible to share a car. Besides, the people I was with and I absolutely should have a minute automobile just in case the ancient 1 starts to give us trouble. We decided not to rush into anything & to look around for a nice, used vehicle separate from too numerous miles on it. We also did not want to spend too much cash. One of the first cars the people I was with and I looked at looked easily nice. The only problem is that it had heated leather seats & the people I was with and I live in the south. It is tepid & humid here. We will never use the heated seats & leather is uncomfortable in the tepid sun. We just could not see spending extra for a vehicle with heated seats. The next vehicle the people I was with and I looked at did not have a working air conditioner. Again, that is a large problem in this area of the country, finally, the people I was with and I found a vehicle with comfortable cloth seats & a working a/c. This vehicle even had a remote starter so I can turn the vehicle on have the air conditioner cool it off when I am wrapping up work. That way, our vehicle will already be cool & comfortable for our drive home; Needless to say, that is the vehicle that the people I was with and I ended up buying. It cost a little more than the people I was with and I had planned on spending however I think it was well worth it.
