After a lot of searching around as well as debate, I finally invested in a complete beach house security system. The security system is an area of a beach house automation package which includes lighting, heating/cooling control, surveillance cameras, window/door sensors, as well as even a sump pump alarm. The beach house automation system is linked to our computers, allowing myself and others to check up on the beach house at anytime, from virtually anywhere in the area. I’m able to watch real time video of the inside as well as outside of the property. I get some alerts if there’s movement, temperature changes, power outage or if a window or door is broken into. Along with monitoring the house, I can also make adjustments. Through an app on our computer, I’m able to raise or lower indoor temperature, turn lights on as well as off, unlock to lock doors.
