Looking into oil furnace options

My oil furnace is legitimately approaching the end of its lifespan, and despite familiar maintenance every fall, the heating system is wearing out; I’ve observed that it’s running for longer and longer cycles and struggling to keep up with demand on especially frigid mornings! The oil furnace is over fifteen years old, and I’ve particularly gotten my currency’s worth out of it; However, I dislike to replace the heating system when it’s still operational.

The alternative is waiting for it to fail. The heating system will most likely quit when it’s working the hardest, while in the worst weather, when I need it the most. I would dislike to be left separate from heat when the outside temperature is below freezing. I’d also rather not be in a rush to get a new oil furnace installed. It would be better to schedule a more convenient time for upgrade, preferably when the weather is mild. I’m sure a modern oil furnace would be more energy efficient and save quite a bit on my utility bills. Where my old oil furnace only achieved a 90% AFUE when it was brand new, there are now models that offer 98% AFUE ratings. Plus, these advanced chances offer all sorts of exciting features. I could replace to zone control, variable speed technology and Wi-Fi connectivity. I would appreciate to be able to set independent hot and cold temperatures in each room of the home and avoid heating empty areas. It would be so helpful to be able to make adjustments to temperature from an app on my phone, however although I’m dreading the whole upgrade process and expense, I assume I’ll be glad with the improvement in comfort and control.
