I work hard, plus have constantly expected no less than an honest morning’s pay for that work. If I ever feel I am being worked too hard, or paid too little, I will voice our complaints plus then leave for reder pastures. This doesn’t happen often, however I do feel it is substantial for a person to guess their own value plus not settle for less. That said, higher education was never in the cards for me, plus our work ethic plus physical strength were all that were carrying myself and others through the rat race. Then I relinked with an outdated friend of mine who needed some help for his fledgling HVAC business, plus I readily agreed to work for him; He needed people who would work hard plus people he could trust, no matter how little they knew about HVAC systems. I worked hard for him, mostly driving the delivery truck plus moving around the heavy heating plus cooling unit to the task sites. One morning our neighbor pulled myself and others aside plus said he would pay for myself and others to go to night college plus become an HVAC professional, if I wanted. He explained about the HVAC certification test, plus how I could take a few classes to help myself and others pass it with flying colors. I constantly struggled with college, however I guess that work ethic won’t carry myself and others forever, plus studying the HVAC maintenance skills would be a sizable help for me, but part of knowing your value is increasing that value, so I think I will try for our HVAC certification.
