Trying to take away radon with our Heating and Air Conditioning system

When our partner and I discovered we had radon gas, we tried to handle the problem without an actual system; I did not want to pay for an lavish radon mitigation plan and hire a radon company.

Instead, I tried to remove the poisonous gas naturally… First I attempted to use our heating and cooling system.

I own a central Heating and Air Conditioning device. I figured the heating and cooling would blow all around the house, but the gas would be spread thin by going to several rooms. Turns out that is not exactly a fix. I then got an air purification plan to install right into our Heating and Air Conditioning technology, and as the Heating and Air Conditioning runs, the air cleaner removes odors from the air. I study online that an air purification does help, however does not ultimately remove the gas. I then tried HEPA filters in our equipment. These clean the indoor air conditions even more than an air cleaner. After all that messing around with our Heating and Air Conditioning equipment, I did not discover the magic fix. I could naturally handle it on our own, however my partner and I had to purchase an lavish radon mitigation system, and every one of us had to contact a radon company to do all the work for us. It was a horrible experience. The plan was basically piping from the basement all the way to our attic. Then the piping connected to a fan that was used for ventilation purposes, but basically the Heating and Air Conditioning plan just blew the poor air quality around and around. The mitigation plan pushes it outside. That is the only difference that I could detect.
