Creepy find during HVAC installation

Should we finish the HVAC installation and continue living here? Should we move out? Perhaps we should just knock out the wall and remove the spooky creatures and end up with a little more kitchen space

This old house never had central heat or air before. It just had a wall furnace and a few window air conditioning units. When we bought it, we decided to have real air conditioning and heating installed. The installation was going well. We selected an HVAC unit with a higher BTU rating than we needed. The price was also manageable. The problem arose when the HVAC technicians started installing the ductwork. Don’t get me wrong, there wasn’t a real issue with the installation itself. The problem was with what the technicians found during the installation. Apparently there is a hidden space between our daughter’s room and the kitchen. This space is not accessible by any door or even the attic. The only reason they found it was because there is 4 feet unaccounted for when there should be just a simple wall. The HVAC technician drilled into the wall, per our request, and then he put a probe through the wall. Inside, there was a child’s table and two chairs. In one chair sat a giant stuffed bunny rabbit. In the other, was a regular sized teddy bear. The table was set for a tea party. It was very unnerving. We don’t know what to do. Should we finish the HVAC installation and continue living here? Should we move out? Perhaps we should just knock out the wall and remove the spooky creatures and end up with a little more kitchen space. I never expected to find such a thing by just have central air conditioning installed. It is so strange.
