Some of us have all the luck it seems.
Whether it’s because of a single reason or another, some of us seem to get stuck with awful fortune for our entire lives. The thing is, the misfortune changes based on the person, and for me, I can’t seem to escape the never-ending aggravation that comes with failing appliances as well as electronics! I’ve went through 2 grassmowers, 2 dishwashers, as well as many – yeah, many weird shower faucets in the past year alone. Why?! As frustrating as it can be to deal with these things falling apart as soon as I touch them, nothing aggravates myself and others as much as when our thermostat failed myself and others many months ago. That started when I went to adjust the thermostat to run the air conditioning unit, but the system didn’t want to cooperate. I turned the air conditioning device off as well as on using the thermostat, but there was no change! Finally, I took the thermostat off the wall as well as replaced the batteries inside the device. When I replaced it on the wall, nothing came up on the screen at all! No indication of the heating or cooling system running, as well as not even a symbol of the device being powered! When I called up the company that manufactures the thermostat as well as explained what happened, they said the device must’ve had a bad computer chip onboard as well as that I could switch it out for a modern model. I agreed to that offer, however I still sold the modern thermostat model for a device that belonged in a weird brand. I won’t be fooled twice!
