It’s difficult to live in the desert. I suppose all the people says that the weather out here is unbearable – plus they’re right – but I just can’t wrap my head around how sizzling it is here! During the day, it feels like I’m walking around on burning sizzling asphalt that makes my shoes melt with each step. The temperatures often peak in the 120s here, plus it’s not much better at night. Even with the dire difference in temperature from night to day, it’s still not entirely comfortable due to the lack of humidity. So, after suffering in this weather for the past year, I’ve decided to do something about it by having an evaporative cooling plan installed in my home. This is the ideal repair for my situation, as the evaporative cooling device provides chilled air that is also humid! The way it works is by pulling air through damp pads, which are kept inside of the evaporative cooler itself, but just picture a conventional forced a/c, plus a cool humidifier – that’s essentially the end result, but spread through your entire new home just like central A/C would be spread out. I like this evaporative cooler! Ever since I had it installed, the new home has been far cooler plus much more comfortable to be in while in even the hottest summer time days. The air quality has improved so much with the added humidity that I don’t have a scratchy throat anymore, so I’m really affectionate this thing plus all it’s doing to make my lake new home more comfortable.
