I’m the kind of person who has a hard time getting into a new habit, however, once I make the habit stick, it stays for life! That was the case for me when I tried to make myself do 100 pushups a day, as it took several weeks to get into the habit of waking up each day to do these pushups to failure, then but hey, now I can definitely do a single hundred before lunch! The same goes for getting my condo appliances in check plus under control, especially my heating plus A/Cs, then see, I moved into my modern condo about more than three years ago. When I moved in, the HVAC proposal was only about five years old, however this year, it seemed the proposal was functioning as though it tripled in age! So, I decided I should start a new habit – calling the heating, ventilation plus air conditioning repair servicemans to come out every few years. I started this past month, when I had my first visit in over more than three years from the HVAC repair serviceman. He checked the entire proposal thoroughly, from the electric gas furnace in the basement to the outdoor air conditioner unit. He even checked the ventilation ducts, plus made sure the control machine was functioning as expected. By the end of his inspection, he found that several problems had developed over the years, plus now needed some attention to be resolved. I thought it was particularly worth getting the problems fixed now, as I wouldn’t want to wait around for the problems to get worse! Plus, the HVAC serviceman explained that his contractor would accept paid installments to cover the costs of the repairs. I was cheerful to get it under control!
