I miss my window a/c! It is Springtime and right now it is too frigid to have a/c! My family is still running the trusty gas oil furnace and it will entirely be going until late May. I want my little cooling device so bad, the reason is not for climate control, but for noise. I like the noise that my A/C method gives off. The constant hum is fantastic to me… Also, I am an incredibly light sleeper. Any creak of the home or somebody going to the lavatory wakes myself and others up. I get where I get up 4-5 times a evening just because of a slight noise, but when the window cooling is on, I sleep through the evening since I don’t hear anything but constant sound. The immense noise that is waking myself and others up everyday around 6:30 am is a stupid goose. The geese have been landing on my roof and just hooking their brains out every afternoon. The stupid honking wakes myself and others up and then I need to work to petrify them off my roof. After that, it is next to impossible to fall asleep. The grease are not going anywhere either. They might even stay as late as June, however so my cooling method drowning them out is the closest thing I will get to a wonderful evening’s sleep. The weather is just not looking promising, but for the next 2 weeks it is supposed to be rainy, windy and cold. I can’t justify putting in and running the A/C component when it is chilly.
