When my siblings and I were young, our mother decided to get a nanny for us because she was always so busy balancing her job as a single parent.
- We loved the nanny, plus she took care of everything around the household.
When the nanny was around, we always had a delicious meal that was somehow always healthy. She liked to keep everything clean and made sure she kept the air quality high. Our mother never thought of these things, however the nanny made sure that every one of us had high quality air filters laboring in the Heating & A/C system. She even showed us kids how to change the air filters. Then she made sure every one of us had a few media air cleaners around the household that used HEPA air filters. She told us how HEPA air filters were the best air filters to use because they pull out all the harmful contaminants from the air. Every one of us all really enjoyed the better air quality. Eventually, our mother’s jealousy led her to believe that my siblings and I were more fond of the nanny than we were of her. She let this idea get the best of her, and ultimately ended up firing our nanny. This was sad and disappointing for us kids because we enjoyed the good meals and exceptional air quality. Our mother said she could do all of the same things, she was just always busy. What it came down to is that my mother felt we had more respect and appreciation for the nanny than we did her. I would not say that was true, every one of us just had a lot of respect for this amazing woman who was helping us with so many things. It was a sad morning when our nanny was fired.
