We had some amazing meals and the air quality was spectacular when the nanny was around.
When my kids were growing up, I decided to get a nanny for them because I was consistently so busy. The nanny I selected did a great job. She made the most delicious home cooked meals, and they were always healthy! She also made me extremely aware of the air quality in the household… Honestly, this is not something I had thought much about, however the nanny made sure that every one of us had high quality air filters certainly working in the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. She even showed the youngsters how to change the air filters. Then she made sure every one of us had a few air purification systems around the household that used HEPA air filters. She told us how HEPA air filters were the best air filters to use because they pull out all the harmful contaminants from the air. All of us all certainly appreciated the better air quality, however eventually, I felt that she was starting to over step with her boundaries over my children. It’s not like she was providing a level of care that I was not capable of providing, but I was just so busy with work. I have to give credit where credit is due. We had some amazing meals and the air quality was spectacular when the nanny was around. However, I just did not want my kids to have all these memories and such a strong bond with another woman. This might sound petty, but I felt it was time for me to assume some of the roles I had needed her to fill. I ended up firing the nanny. The kids were very upset and could not stop crying when they found out, but in time, they realized we did not need her to have all of those things.
