I can’t imagine how it feels.

I love my cousin Mindy, but she has a mental disability. She was born with the incapability to reason. This means that everything is taken literally and you can’t ask her to make a decision. It drives her crazy as she takes every statement literally and she needs someone else to decide. If you asked her what she wanted to eat at the diner, she would order everything in lieu of making the decision. When Mindy called and asked for my help, I knew it was something serious. I got to the house and asked what was wrong. She looked at me and told me she had a terrible smell in the house and she didn’t know what to do. She looked online, but everything was beginning to jumble. She didn’t know if she should get a new HVAC system, or if she should just get an air purification system. She was crying with her frustration. We sat down on the sofa and I made her relax. We slowly talked through the options she had with the air purification system. I asked if there were any problems with her HVAC system. She didn’t think there was. She ran upstairs and got all of the paperwork. She had the new HVAC system installed about four years ago. We then stuck with just air purification. I asked her how much money she had and she gave me a weird look. I explained that some air purifiers were very expensive, so we needed to start by looking at her budget. She shuddered and told me to make the decision and tell her what she bought. She threw her checkbook and bank account book at me.
