The new generation of SEO with aged HVAC dealers

Some things sound good at first, but don’t mix well.

You can look at many different things and say, wow that was a horrible idea.

Like drinking orange juice and then brushing your teeth. My dad works for an SEO industry and specializes in HVAC marketing. He’s always telling me about how uneducated most HVAC dealers are when it comes to SEO. It’s hard to get the two to mesh. You can mainly blame it on the age gap between people who know the digital world, and people who don’t. The HVAC industry is a bunch of older people that have been working in their field for years. The internet is not something they see as a way to help them get more business. They’re all about the traditional newspaper ads or word of mouth. That is not the way anymore. It is all online marketing, all the way. My dad has all the stats to back him up on how his SEO company can help a website rank better on google. Most HVAC dealers even know what google is. Selling any kind of digital marketing or a website to an HVAC company that doesn’t understand it is rough. Also, trying to convince the dealers that my dad knows what’s better for them is also hard. The simple fact of the matter is, we live in a digital world and if the HVAC companies want to come out on top, they need to invest in something like SEO or some kind of paid online advertisement. This will affect their traffic in a positive way and they’ll see more clients and money coming in for their company.
