I recently had to move to the upper floor of our building with the rest of our department as well as I am not liking it in the slightest.
They easily decided to turn the floor that we had previously been working into a records storage area.
I personally felt as though all of the moving around was totally unnecessary. Of course, I’m not in charge as well as nobody really cares what I think about it. They started the crucial move as well as I noticed that the air quality up on the top floor is nowhere near as enjoyable as the air quality on the floor where every one of us were working before the move. I don’t actually know if it’s because heat rises or what, however the top floor of the building often feels stuffy as well as too sizzling. Even when it’s the middle of cold season, and maybe all the heat from the gas heating appliance ends up there or something. Of course, you aren’t able to open up any of the windows to get ventilation because they are fixed windows being the top floor of the building and all. Don’t even get me started on the way it feels up there in the warm months. Even when the a/c appliance is running full crank as well as you can feel the air coming out of the a/c vents, the air isn’t cold. It’s lukewarm at best as well as the rooms just never get cooler in the warm season. It’s absolutely miserable, if you ask me. I wish that I could put a window appliance cooling system in my office, however that’s not even possible. I want to move back to the other floor to be honest! They should have put the file room up here on top because files don’t necessarily care if the heating as well as cooling appliance works constantly or not.
