Working at the nursing house has been an interesting experience for me, however I like the people at the facility, staff as well as patients alike..
So it’s a nice place to be.
One thing that has been difficult for us is getting patients to interact with other patients. It can be a lonely place living in a nursing home, so the people I was with and I try to force the social interactions. Eventually, the people I was with and I decided to do something new that would make things more inviting as well as more comfortable. All of us eventually decided to have professionally installed radiant floors in the social section where everybody gets to have daily parties, play BINGO, as well as talk with others. It was our Earth Day celebration when the people I was with and I introduced the patients to the new radiant heated flooring via the oil furnace. Everybody was really delighted except for a select few patients in the place who were strenuous to please. Even those people I knew appreciated the amazing radiant radiant floors because they didn’t want to rush back to their rooms to be all alone. Overall, I would say the new Heating as well as Air Conditioning replacement was actually a success. Some people have said the people I was with and I would install brand new radiant radiant floors in all the rooms in the nursing home, however I recognize very easily that would defeat the purpose. I recognize that it’s just wonderful the way the dedicated people I was with and I have it because now everybody is happy to go to the main room to mingle with the others. This is where people must live their final afternoons, so you should be able to have fun with yourself!
