My parents were legitimately strict when I was in high school simply because I was their only daughter. They were too protective with everything I did. When I started dating my boyfriend, they became even more strict plus created rules that were easy to cut so that I would be grounded all of the time. When I was grounded, my boyfriend snuck up the side of the house plus would even crawl into my bedroom window for us to hang out! One evening after he crawled in, we were watching a film when my mom screamed from her room. There was a mouse in her bed. It turns out that the mouse had climbed out of the air vent & jumped onto their bed. After some inspection, it was discovered that the opened air ducts were the reason the mouse got in the first place. Our heating plus air conditioning business expert must have skipped this step during the last inspection. My mom had been meaning to find a new heating plus air conditioning technician for us to work with because this was not the first time he had dropped the ball. My parents were so concerned about getting the ducts sealed away that they didn’t bother to question how the mouse came inside. Once the air ducts were sealed, the contractor suggested what the possible reason for the mouse’s appearance was and my parents quickly realized how sneaky I was being. I still blame that air conditioner business for me getting caught plus being grounded for the rest of that entire school year.
