Don’t you hate it when you get those annoying telemarketing people calling your house? I know I do. I usually just ignore the idiots when I can. The caller ID on my phone usually shows me it is them calling. However, I got a call the other week that I did not know was going to be one of those sales calls. So I answered it, and it was someone on behalf of a local heating and air conditioning company. I almost hung up on them and told them I do not need any heating and air conditioning repair service! But, they stopped me before I had chance to hang up and pitched me this wonderful sounding HVAC plan. The heating and cooling service plan they offered almost sounded way too good to be true. With these telemarketers, 99.9% of the time, the crap they sell you is too good to be true, and is usually some sort of scam. I told the caller to call me back as I wanted to call the local heating and air conditioning company myself to see if this was for real. They gladly with glee and a smile in their voice said ok. I called the local heating and air conditioning company they were representing on the phone call. And I was shocked that they really did hire these telemarketers and that the heating and air conditioning service plan was very real! When the telemarketer called back, I signed up for it and bought the heating and air conditioning repair plan! They gave a really good sales pitch!
