I only go on social media for air quality tips

I find it so interesting to ask people about their experiences with social media.

A lot of people I know absolutely love being on instagram, day in and day out… and I have to say….

Why though? What do you get from looking at other people’s fake lives and posting your own? Why don’t you just try to live for yourself and worry less about capturing staged moments in photographs? None of it makes any sense to me. The only thing that I take away from social media is tips on living better, cheaper, and more comfortably. And a lot of that starts and stops with your heating, cooling, and air quality control system, I’ve learned. I don’t think I ever really paid attention to my heating and cooling devices before – I had a forced air furnace, a large central air conditioning system, and a basic programmable thermostat. They kept my indoor air at a bearable temperature and I never really considered that the indoor temperature control devices could be improved in any way. And then… I started following a local HVAC company instagram handle. All of a sudden, it was clear that I was missing out on some indoor comfort, clean air, and lower energy bills which the rest of the world was privy to. I went on a rampage, consuming everything the heating and cooling repair shop posted each day and learning about the newest innovations in indoor air quality control technology. Now I have an air media purifier, a heat pump, and a smart thermostat in my home. My air feels amazing and so do I… especially when I get a lot of “likes” on my HVAC posts.
