My wife has the smelliest business

When my wife said she wanted to start working so she could pitch in on the bills, I was ecstatic. For the past ten years I’ve been paying for everything for us, and it’s been very stressful. I want to take care of my wife like a princess, but at the same time… this isn’t wonderland. Once in a while it would be nice if she could just pitch in for the energy bill, the phone bill, or the HVAC repair bill. I say this, especially, because our heating, cooling, and air quality control system has always been a problem for us. We get into a lot of fight about the indoor air temperature and can never settle on a single thermostat program that makes everyone happy. Instead, we just bicker endlessly about turning on the cooling system or the heater, day in and day out. This all has been even more complicated with my wife’s new “job.” It isn’t a job, it’s a pyramid scheme. My wife is peddling smelly candles that completely stink up the entire house. Every time she gets a new shipment in, it’s like someone sprayed air freshener right in my face for two days straight. The heating and cooling system isn’t helping in the matter, because it picks up the smelly odors and transfers them all around the house every time the thermostat instructs the AC unit or furnace to operate. The stinky smells go flying through the air vents and get transferred to every single room – I cannot escape from the stinky indoor air no matter what I do. Meanwhile, is she offering to pay for air filter, duct cleanings, or an air media purifier to undo the damage? No, and our energy bills are higher than ever.
