When our hubby & I had our home fire, the two of us were devastated.
All of us suddenly had nowhere to go & the two of us just wanted to kneel down & get some rest.
All of us went to 2 unusual hotels that told us they were full. I was pretty sure it was because all the two of us had was a basket of clothing & the clothes the two of us were wearing. Considering the two of us had just come from a home fire, I thought the two of us looked pretty good. My hubby even showed them our ATM card, however they wouldn’t budge. When the two of us walked into the eighth hotel, even before the clerk said anything, I explained about the fire & I told them all the two of us wanted was ahotroom & a place to sleep. He took our ATM card & told us the two of us could only stay 1 night. All of us got into the room & I took a shower in the warmth of thehotwater. While our hubby showered, I maintained the control unit to make sure the heating was working well. My hubby came out of the lavatory & told me he had already set the control unit & he assured me the Heating & Air Conditioning system was working well. I just wanted to quit shivering & forget about the afternoon the two of us had just endured. I stood out in the snow, waiting for the firemen & enjoying our house burn. My hubby was at labor & I was alone until our brother-in-law showed up. He had heard the call over his scanner & he came to check on me. He put me in his car, with the oil furnace running, & called our hubby house from work.
