Working out in the super cold

My hour ever task has been working at a big-box store assisting clients and providing help with basic tasks.

Any time someone needs a carry out, whether it’s a little outdated lady that wants help with her groceries or a truly giant piece of furniture that requires extra hands, I’m there. I also occasionally supply janitorial services plus keeping the shelving in the front of the store orderly and visually pleasing. I do not have a concern with any of that stuff; it’s pushing carts into the store from the outside that has pretty tough. Don’t get me wrong, I care about the fresh air and exercise, and it’s truly only recently that it has become difficult. Mainly because it’s freezing chilly outside. It’s the middle of Wintertide out here and all of us are lucky if any given day is above freezing. Everyone who works with me hopes that they will pull duty that has inside the store where the heating method can keep them warm. I am totally with them on wanting to get the benefit of the heating system. I cannot help however not to think truly sorry for the other employees who get to work inside the heated store all the time when they complain about their task. At least they do not have to do it in freezing chilly weather! At least the customer service manager does not mind when all of us take a break or several inside the heated store to catch our breath, get a drink, and get warm. I do not think what I would do if they insisted that all of us stayed out there in the chilly all day!
