It’s not like they haven’t seen another dog before! The thing that annoys me the most though is when people walk their dogs and they poop on our lawn! It really gets me mad if they don’t bother to clean up the mess too! If you are walking your dog, you really need to be courteous and clean up after your animal! That’s another thing that I personally don’t want to have to do.
My wife has said that we should get a dog, but I am really hesitant about doing that! Dogs seem nice to have and all, but it also seems like a great deal of work to take on. If you get a dog, you have to walk them all the time, and you have to take them to the Vet for shots and health concerns. That seems like it would be very expensive since I don’t believe you can get your pets on a health insurance plan. I also see neighbors walking their dogs all the time, and there are dogs around the neighborhood that bark like crazy when they see dogs walking. I don’t understand why they get all worked up over seeing another dog. It’s not like they haven’t seen another dog before! I also know that if we had a dog, we would have to change the air filters all the time to handle the extra pet fur in the household. The air quality would probably be severely impacted, and I believe we would have to call for HVAC maintenance far more often. When I weigh the pros and cons of having a dog, for me it doesn’t seem to be a good idea. I know it would make my wife really happy though, so we might end up getting one regardless of how I feel about it.
