If you don’t use washable hand towels, you’ll find that your paper towel budget is fairly high. Instead, I obtained a bunch of hand towels and washcloths and now I simply make sure that I disinfect enough of them in every load of laundry to keep them replenished in our linen closet. Another way I save money is by having a much more efficient heating program while I was in our frosty Wintertide weather. I replaced our fan-forced electric heating system with a heat pump and wish I had made the transition earlier in life. Whie temperatures rarely drop below 20 degrees in this section while I was in the winter, that’s still frosty enough to warrant typical use of an indoor heating system. The heat pump is a lot more efficient at keeping our current home sizzling and that leads to instant savings on our energy bill.
