Wealthy people don’t always live in mansions with complicated temperature control units

The thing is, you don’t need to live in a mansion with a complicated temperature control system just because you can technically afford it.

I knew a few wealthy people growing up who looked like any average middle class folks. I l gained at that age that people who genuinely had lots of money went out of their way to prevent others from knowing, lest they get judged for their financial worth instead of their character. There are billionaires that live in more than one story homes with 3-4 home offices plus cars that are over 15 years old. As far as how they spend their riches, I can’t say for sure. Some devote those resources towards philanthropy, while others might have high-priced hobbies plus meal habits. When I was delivering packages for a major shipping supplier, I had a lot of wealthy people on our route that I recognized by name alone. While a legitimate share of them were in classic looking mansions, some would purposefully live much more minimally. They don’t need $10,000 geothermal gas heating systems plus radiant flooring if a straight-forward central furnace works on its own. This actor who made millions on every movie had a home with ductless mini splits in every room. A state politician had actual window cooling systems that you could see from the street. The thing is, you don’t need to live in a mansion with a complicated temperature control system just because you can technically afford it. And if that money ever runs dry, you won’t be able to maintain that high-priced lifestyle. I wouldn’t mind a geothermal gas furnace for sheer efficiency purposes alone, however I don’t recognize I could ever afford the high cost of entry. As far as cooling systems are upset, I’m great with a traditional cut type central cooling system.
