Some experiences in life have taught myself and others not to take basic things for granted.
I guess that occasionally, we all need to marvel over the fact that we have a roof over our heads, food to eat, a paying task, etc.
There is something else I am greatly appreciative of as well when it comes to basic things that we enjoy. I have l gained to love temperature control more as well as more. In fact, last weekend taught myself and others to love air conditioner more than ever! Chiefly because my air conditioner component broke down Thursday night. There I was, anticipating a superb night’s rest -that would not be interrupted by having to leave for work early in the morning- to kick-off a superb weekend, as well as then the air conditioner sputters out in the middle of the night! I woke up in a sweat as well as went to the thermostat. I keyed in the commands for the air conditioner unit, however nothing was happening. What a bummer this was! Now I would have to schedule an Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C contractor to come out as well as help. The next morning, I discovered that was not going to be possible until Thursday! My Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C company was booked for the weekend. What bad luck this was! Suddenly, my own lake house was the last venue I wanted to be to relax as well as have a superb time that weekend, mainly because it would be impossible in the heat. I even toyed with the method of renting out a motel room until Thursday, just for the benefit of the air conditioner! I did not take air conditioner for granted anymore once it was fixed up on Thursday!
