There is nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night, covered in sweat.
The blankets are thrown on the floor and your skin feels like someone had just dumped oil on it.
It is not a good thing when it is summer, and the air conditioning breaks down. I had a good ceiling fan in my bedroom, but all it does is blow the hot air around. Getting just the hot breeze however, is better than nothing. I knew I should have called the HVAC company for my yearly inspection. My wife had even told me that the maintenance of our AC unit needed to be done. It isn’t even as if I didn’t have the time to make the call, because I am retired. I just simply forgot to make the phone call. Many men complain their wives are nags and they don’t know how to shut. When my wife is upset, you can’t get her to talk. I hate getting the silent treatment from her. I already knew I was stupid for not calling the HVAC company and now she is just glaring at me and not saying anything. It really upsets me but it is my own fault. It is going to be three days before the HVAC company can look at my AC unit. I just hope it doesn’t take any longer than that. Until then, I am sleeping alone in my hot bedroom and suffering with the humidity. My wife has gone to stay with her sister because of her asthma.
