When our serviceman showed up to service our Heating and A/C system she commented on the noise level.
- Not the noise of the system, it runs great, it was the noise level outside of our home that she was talking about.
Our area has been experiencing a building boom for the past 2 years and it seems that all you hear when you are out is the sound of construction. The noise, along with construction dust and debris are entirely too much to take sometimes. For this reason I am legitimately thankful for our Heating and A/C system. When I am home I keep our windows and doors closed narrow to drown out the noise and keep the air I breathe wash and dust free. There is a new house being built right next door and if not for the quiet solitude I find in our own personal sanctuary I am not sure what I would do. I know that pretty much everyone use their Heating and A/C system for temperature control, and I do too, but I need the quiet that it provides. I don’t even adore the temperature because I can fluctuate between hot and cool at the touch of a button. I never have any reason to turn the system off. Of course, I make sure to wash the filter on a proper basis too because I depend on it so much. I don’t want to stress the component by having a dirty filter that would make it run harder. Eventually the building boom will end and then maybe I will be able to enjoy the fresh air again and open the windows. For now, I will just continue to use our Heating and A/C system to supply myself and others peace and quiet.
