Most of my life, I have been used to changing the air filters every other month
Buying discounted air conditioning filters are a great way to save money if you are running your central air conditioning system all the time. I happen to be one of those people who have to run the a/c almost twenty four hours per day, every single day. This is due to the very hot climate that I live in at the moment. To save money on buying air filters, I buy the discounted ones. But I can tell you, the problem with discounted air filters are that they run out very quickly compared to normal priced air filters like HEPA air filters. What I mean by running out very fast is that all the dirt, dust and grime in the air collects on the discounted air filters pretty fast. While with the regular priced air filters, I usually change them every other month, with these cheaper ones, I find myself having to change them out once a month. It still does save me some money in the long run, but it is a real hassle sometimes. Most of my life, I have been used to changing the air filters every other month. Ever since I have been using the discounted air filters, I sometimes forget, and then I have a dirty air filter running in my central air conditioning system. It is only when my allergies start acting up that I realise that I have not changed the air filter, and then I right away have to change it! My wife has worse allergies than I do, so sometimes, she’s able to tell a week or 2 before me.
