I actually feel a bit embarrassed to say that, although I am truly young! I am not internet savvy… When a bunch of people think of my generation, they think of all of those little ones that are tech savvy, plus they can just do anything on the internet.
I guess I am the exception to that rule, because I’m not tech savvy at all.
Anyways, my parents have been running a heating plus air conditioning appliance business for the past 10 years, plus they honestly know the way of business pretty well! However, over the past few years, they have seen a major decrease in sales! Since both of my parents actually know less about technology than I do, they asked me for help on how to improve their shopper base. Honestly? I wasn’t quite sure how to accomplish that. I don’t even know much about technology, nor am I wonderful at advertising. However, there is a single thing I am pretty good at, research. I easily began looking up ways on how to advertise your business, plus that is when I discovered online marketing. Once I discovered digital marketing, everything else seemed to fall into place. I was able to learn about the ways of drawing purchasers to your business, including pay per click, search engine optimization plus link building. There was an incredibly useful guide that went into fine detail about how to produce great ads plus get them out there, plus how things such as PPC work. I told my parents everything I was able to learn, plus then directed them towards an online marketing business if they needed any more help. I’m so glad I was not only able to help my parents, but learn so much about online advertising on top of that! I actually feel that I am getting better at technology already.
