My husband’s dream was to become a mechanic.
He always told me the story about how he ran tests on seasoned cars with his dad when he was 6.
His dad gathered vehicles and motorcycles. He would repair them and either sell them or keep them for himself. So, my husband was always around cars and he grew passionate about it. He even chose a university, where he was able to learn automotive engineering. My husband could have gone to work for one of the major manufacturers. But, all he wanted was his own mechanic shop. Gladly, he did open up a shop and he has been successful ever since. The shop is in a commercial section with plenty of stores around. The shop is big so my husband rents a portion to other mechanics. Currently, there is a guy renting the shop space for his tinting business, but he will be leaving in a month. So, my husband ordered one of those commercial shop spaces for rent signs and placed it on the curb of his mechanic shop. He said an hour after placing the commercial shop space for rent sign outside, he got multiple inquiries about the available space. Of course, my husband will need to meet with almost everyone interested in renting the commercial shop space. The new renters will need to have a company that’s in line with my husband’s company model. In fact, he’d be delighted to rent the space to another tinting supplier. He supposes that he will find someone soon because of the amount of people interested in the space. It’s funny that all he did was put up a commercial shop space-for-rent sign in front of the shop.
