Working from the cabin, larger utility costs

Whenever there’s a major change in our lives, the two of us somehow end up stuck at cabin for a few weeks to cope with that change, when that change is drawback, love when your spouse loses their task due to a mass layoff in their workplace, but it’s a frustrating situation, & it was 1 that my wife & I found ourselves in when such an unfortunate thing happened to me! Thankfully, I had a side task laboring as a technical writer from home, so I could just increase my workload for that while I searched for work around neighborhood to pay the bills; Since I was cabin all day long, I noticed that the two of us were now running the air conditioning method through the day & night.

That of course led to higher energy bills, so the two of us had to find a creative maintenance for this new spike in utility costs! I did some research online to see what the best solution was when you’re on a budget, & I found that I could do 1 of two things… First, I could find a nice place to get my work done that wasn’t at cabin – say, a coffee shop – & in the process, I could invest in a smart thermostat to keep the temperature under control at the house… A smart thermostat could also be programmed to run at a slightly warmer temperature than what I’d normally consider comfortable, too, so that way I could reduce the workload on the air conditioning unit. With these options, I was sure to find a way to split the air conditioner operating costs!
