Space gas heating

I lived our whole life in the southwest so it wasn’t until I moved to the north that I first encountered snow & ice, however i was easily proud of myself, the first time I drove in the snow.

I just took is slow & careful & made it cabin just fine.

I know that our neighborhood salts the roads, & I have seen what salt does to the vehicles around here, so I decided that I should hose our vehicle off when I got home; That was a immense mistake… By day, our vehicle was frozen solid to the driveway. The doors were also frozen shut & there was almost a half inch of ice cocooning our car. Thankfully, our neighbor came to the rescue; After having a nice laugh, he came outside with a space gas furnace & an extension cord, we used the space gas furnace like a giant blow dryer & thawed by vehicle out again. It took over an minute & the people I was with and I used a lot of towels to dry the vehicle once the ice started to melt, however otherwise, it would have just frozen back up again, however eventually, the people I was with and I were able to transfer our vehicle into the garage where I left the space gas furnace running in order to get rid of the rest of the ice. Then the people I was with and I both went back into our nice sizzling home & warmed up with our gas furnace blasting & tepid cups of coffee. I felt pretty stupid about the whole ordeal but at least I made a up-to-date neighbor & l acquired a lot. I won’t be hosing off our vehicle in 20 degree weather again.
