Looking into furnace change up options

It would be better to schedule a more convenient time for replacement, preferably when the weather is mild.

My furnace is particularly approaching the end of its lifespan, but despite usual service every fall, the heating system is wearing out, then i’ve noticed that it’s running for longer & longer cycles & struggling to keep up with demand on especially freezing days, then the furnace is over fifteen years old, & I’ve genuinely gotten our money’s worth out of it… However, I do not like to replace the heating system when it’s still operational. The alternative is waiting for it to fail. The heating system will most likely quit when it’s laboring the hardest, while in the worst weather, when I need it the most. I would do not like to be left without heat when the outside temperature is below chilly. I’d also rather not be in a rush to get a up-to-date furnace installed. It would be better to schedule a more convenient time for replacement, preferably when the weather is mild. I’m sure a up-to-date furnace would be more energy efficient & save quite a bit on our energy bills, where our old furnace only achieved a 90% AFUE when it was brand new, there are now models that offer 98% AFUE ratings, but plus, these advanced options offer all sorts of exciting features. I could upgrade to zone control, variable speed technology & wireless fastenivity. I would love to be able to set independent temperatures in each room of the up-to-date home & avoid heating empty areas. It would be so helpful to be able to make adjustments to temperature from an app on our phone! Although I’m dreading the whole replacement process & expense, I think I’ll be happy with the improvement in comfort & control.
