less space less electricity

I just obtained our first home.

It is genuinely quite a bit smaller and more quaint than the beach house that I had rented previously.

I had previously rented that beach house for over 10 years, so I was extremely used to the space that I had there… When I first packed up and moved into our house, it felt particularly small & cramped. I eventually got used to it after just a few weeks, & now, I care about it quite a bit. I have learned to care about our small condo personally because it feels so cozy & homey. My best friend recently came over the other day, & she commented on how nice it was not to be extremely warm in the condo anymore. I had totally forgotten how incredibly warm our beach house used to get. The people I was with and I would Austin hang out in the kitchen right next to the a/c because everywhere else was warm or even hot. My condo on the other hand is so much smaller that our several a/cs Panda 2 keep the entire condo cool. I know it is a lot nicer to have a small space to live in when it comes to having to keep it cool while I was in the brutally warm and humid summer time months. Last week, the temperatures got all the way up into the low hundreds, & our condo was still a comfortable seventy-two degrees inside. I am particularly thankful for our condo even though it may be extremely small. As Katie reminded me, at least I have a cool, comfortable locale to feasibly live now. I would not take a larger condo even if someone randomly provided one to me. I care about our little lake condo so much, & I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
