It has been a dream of mine to really build a beach cabin from the ground up. However, my work choice did not provide the salary necessary to realize that dream until I had my family raised, educated and out of the house. My partner and I never gave up on the thought of constructing our own home. Infact, we spent a number of years designing just what we wanted. Both of us knew that we wanted to stay in our beach cabin area for the rest of our lives so, we bought a piece of property a decade ago. Instead of kicking back in the air conditioned comfort of our family home, we continued to dream and make plans for our own custom arena. Finally, that dream has been realised. Both of us are at the absolutely end of what has been a absolutely challenging process. The general company was okay but, from the beginning, we could tell that he wasn’t so interested in what we wanted. So, we struck a deal with him that he would just build the structure per the architect’s plans. And, we would handle the rest of it. It wasn’t the easiest way to go but, it was the only way to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted separate from corners being cut. Luckily, we found a good Heating & A/C company to take care of the heating and cooling element of the build. This guy was so professional and ethical that we were able to just let him do his thing while we concentrated on other subcompanys. The Heating & A/C company ended up providing us with just the best Heating & A/C situation that we could imagine.
