With the whole virus thing going on a lot of people are asking me if I still have a job… Essential workers are doctors, dentists, delivery men, etc, but i am a HVAC dealer plus I am still working; People still need their AC unit checked, an a/c repair doesn’t care if there is a virus going on… Right now is the time for people to get a cooling tune up as well, but there are also a ton of people now thinking about their indoor air quality, however my HVAC supplier has been getting a lot of calls about UV air purifiers, UV lights plus HEPA filters. The HVAC company absolutely is doing a deal right now, but with an a/c tune up, the UV air purifier upgrade is around 50% less. There is also a bulk deal on buying HEPA filters, however business might be a little slower than usual, even though I still have steady work, how I perform my job is a little odd too. I have to sanitize my entire truck, tools plus unit before I go out on any job. I also need to wear a suit, googles, cap, plus foot coverings. After each job I then need to wipe the tools plus van again. I have to sanitize my goggles plus replace my foot coverings. It is not self-explanatory working on AC unit so bundled up. It is also quite hot. In order to keep people safe plus put their minds at ease, it is worth it though. I still have a job too. I would wear a clown suit in order to pay my rent plus buy groceries when I want.
