I was stunned when I looked up from our desk to see one of the HOA board members approaching our office door.
Fortunately, our assistant stopped him from just walking right on in.
She sat him in a chair in the comfort of our Heating & Air Conditioning lobby. This was the latest as well as I hope last transport by a easily cheeky HOA. The planned community every one of us live in has the most over zealous HOA board that I have ever encountered. Look, I get the reasons it’s best to have passable rules in place to maintain property value as well as basic standards. This is what the HOA is for. But, so several of these entities have people on it that get a little taste of authority as well as go nuts. The guy that was going to see our office is easily much that sort of person. Besides being totally socially inept, he has the tendency to shoot his mouth off. Currently, he has been pestering me over a trivial Heating & Air Conditioning matter. This guy has determined that the Heating & Air Conditioning cabinet outside our home has become too sun bleached. He has demanded that I replace an otherwise perfectly great Heating & Air Conditioning component. I simply ignored his calls as well as letters full of all variety of threats. He came to our home one evening, again threatening all sorts of legal action. I told him then that I would compromise as well as simply paint the Heating & Air Conditioning cabinet so it looked fresh as well as new. This simply would not work for this guy. And now, he had the audacity to show up at our work completely unannounced. That was the last straw. As he was being led into our office, I opened up on him. There was never an opening to speak for this guy as I just berated him. My lawyer will be handling it going forward.
