I suppose it’s crazy, but our neighbors are acting a lot like children.
They keep on copying us.
Even though it’s pretty ridiculous, I suppose they are jealous of our current thermostat unit. See, a few weeks ago, we had our local heating and A/C service company out to our home to do some assessments for us. We had been thinking of getting an update to our heating and cooling system, but we wanted to get a professional heating and A/C worker’s opinion on it first. Anyway, when he came to the house, he looked around at our gas furnace, our air conditioner, plus our thermostat unit; He suggested that we just have our heating system and cooling system professionally maintained regularly and our ventilation ducts professionally cleaned. He said that there wasn’t a substantial need for us to completely change our heating and A/C system at the moment. However, he was pretty insistent that we needed to replace our thermostat system immediately. The whole time we were in the home talking to the heating and A/C worker, our snooping neighbors were outside trying to figure out what was going on. Both of us watched our security footage and we saw them writing down the name plus phone number of the heating and A/C company from the heating and A/C van. Then, we saw them peeking in the windows to see what we were doing! I suppose they saw the heating and A/C worker talking to us about the thermostat because as soon as we got a brand new smart thermostat unit, they ended up getting one exactly like it. For a couple of adults, they act so juvenile!
