This is where I keep my sweat

I normally live a truly sedentary life as an office worker, and like it that way.

I will say, however every so often I must do what our father called “real man’s work”.

That consistently meant some physical activity like digging a hole or going out and moving some heavy objects from one place to another. If the task involved getting super greasy or dirty the level of the labor was quickly elevated to “honest work” in our dad’s mind. I still like our job as an “unreal & dishonest” cubicle dweller however I will say there is one thing about hard dirty tasks that I love & that is to sweat. So, imagine our joy when I was able to build a small Finnish type sauna right outside on our pool deck. The warm dry heat allows myself and others to go out and sweat buckets of salty perspiration followed by a quick swim in our pool… Not only did it make me feel and look superb & help myself and others relax, it was supposed to be healthy as well. Aside from the sauna, I don’t want to sweat anywhere else in the house. That actually why I depend on our favorite HVAC tech and Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system to keep myself cool enough in summer time to be below the sweat threshold. So, when our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system was first installed, I truly had a lot of trouble keeping our living room cool. It turned out, in the end, that the temperature control had been placed too close to a vent that regularly blasted out a wave of chilly air every time the A/C component switched on. My amazing Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tech moved it to another location so that these days, our sweat is reserved for the sauna.
