It should have been quick, but then the fence happened

I graduated from university in January with my master’s degree, but I haven’t started a job due to the virus. Instead, for years I have continued to give pizza. I have been working at the same pizza shop where I got my first job for the past 4years. I started shortly after private school and continued to attend the job part-time while in my university years. A lot of Summers I thought the job was easily wonderful and I managed to save enough currency to buy a great automobile while in that time. Now I am extremely thankful for my pizza delivery work, namely, because I still get to work during this time of financial struggle when I’d otherwise be unemployed. A lot of clients have been extremely generous, and the cash tips are much better than average. I worked all day on Monday, and right at the end, my last order of the night was a delivery just outside of our usual delivery range for the shop. The owner of the condo promised a nice tip, and I thought it would be worthwhile, if the people I was with and I made the delivery. When I arrived at the local address, I was greeted by a large security gate, though. There was an intercom box next to the security gate. I repeatedly rang the buzzer before someone finally answered and responded. I heard a buzz and the large security gate started to slowly open. It literally took almost 5 minutes for the gate to fully open. By the time I delivered the pizzas and got home, I swear the entire delivery was almost an hour. Thank goodness the owner of the beachside handed me a nice tip.
