My Mom & I have always been close. When I was growing up, both of us did everything together. My Mom took myself and others fishing & hiking, & both of us even hunted for deer, rabbits, & turkey. My Mom was a genuinely difficult worker, but he always had enough time for my sibling & I. When my partner & I got married, I did not want to tranathletic activity too far away from my mom & Mom. My partner & I found a multiple-story apartment in town, just a few miles away from my childhood home. My parents have us over every weekend for dinner, & they come to see us once during the week. It’s nice to be close to home. My Mom & I started a project last week, & both of us are laboring on restoring an outdated Chevy. My Mom has been talking about the outdated Chevy for years, & both of us finally found something reasonably priced to fix up, and since the project car will take many years, both of us decided to clean the garage & store that Chevy inside. It’s too hot to labor on the project during the summer, so my Mom & I split the cost of an AC unit. The garage doesn’t have any Windows, other than the door. We had to purchase a ductless AC unit. They aren’t cheap, but they genuinely labor really well. When my Mom & I are using the ductless AC unit, it’s often too cold in the garage. We can keep the temperature set to 74 degrees, & it still feels crisp & cool. The ductless AC unit was high-priced, but it works better than any other small machine.
