I want to say something and make it perfectly clear.
HEPA filters are amazing and I recommend them to everyone.
I just can’t say this enough. The difference it has made in my life by simply removing all the harmful irritants in the air has made the house I live in actually livable. I don’t say this to be dramatic, I could not, and would not live in that house if it had no HEPA filter, this is because without one the indoor air quality is horrible. When I first walked into the place before purchasing the filter, I was coughing and gagging on how thick and dirty the air was. It was like breathing in sand! Despite this large problem, I had no plans on giving up on this place. I knew a friend of mine that had a similar issue and they solved it with filters and HVAC products. I went all the way and not only got the HEPA filter but I also contacted my heating and a/c company and had a whole home air purification system installed. The amount of effort it took to stabilize the air was unreal but in the end it did work. Now, having all those indoor air quality issues is nothing but a distant memory. I can walk around the house and breathe in clean air. And to ensure that the air doesn’t get stale I will usually keep my windows open during the day. It is hard to believe how far this place has come. No more sandy air for me!
