My neighbor Zack has typically been the adventurer type. She just isn’t entirely phased by things that would frighten people. So I wasn’t too surprised when on a Thursday night she called myself and others and told myself and others her plans to go urban exploring that night with a couple of other friends of ours. She was inviting myself and others to come along and I had nothing better to do other than continue seeing TV, and as silly as her idea was, it was sure better than standing around the house and so I agreed. This isn’t something I am normally into, and when that night rolled around I felt myself being tempted into staying by my fireplace, which was doing a great task of warming my house. I however ignored these temptations and went with the original plan. All of us all met up at the location of choice. An abandoned shopping mall just many hours from my house. The place was badly worn down and many of the sites where there used to be doors were nonexistent now, so it was easy to just walk right on in, but everyone else ventured further inside although I decided to explore the outside. When I stepped outside I was surprised to see a giant commercial Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C on the side of the building. It was so important I couldn’t help however to wonder how much had to be paid at the time to keep the heating and cooling component running. What about furnace and cooling system repairs if it broke? Thinking of heating and cooling reminded myself and others of my own furnace waiting for myself and others at home. The night was getting colder, and I was ready to leave.
