My friends invited myself and others to go urban exploring

My buddy Zack has consistently been the adventurer type.

He just isn’t really phased by things that would startle people.

So I wasn’t too surprised when on a Monday evening he called myself and others & told myself and others his plans to go urban exploring that evening with a couple of other friends of ours. He was inviting myself and others to come along & I had nothing better to do other than continue watching TV, & as deranged as his system was, it was sure better than sitting around the home & so I agreed. This isn’t something I am normally into, & when that evening rolled around I felt myself being tempted into staying by our fireplace, which was doing a good task of warming our house. I however ignored these temptations & went with the original plan. The two of us all met up at the location of choice. An abandoned shopping mall just 10 hours from our house. The locale was badly worn down & various of the locales where there used to be doors were nonexistent now, so it was straight-forward to just walk right on in, and everyone else ventured further inside but I decided to explore the outside. When I stepped outside I was surprised to see a huge commercial Heating & A/C on the side of the building. It was so huge I couldn’t help but to wonder how much had to be paid at the time to keep the heating & cooling unit running. What about oil furnace & a/c repairs if it broke? Surely getting a Heating & A/C serviceman to service that would be extravagant. Thinking of heating & cooling reminded myself and others of our own oil furnace waiting for myself and others at home. The evening was getting colder, & I was ready to leave. I waited for our friends to reemerge before heading home.
