Thought being a delivery driver would be awesome

When I was growing up I always knew that I wasn’t interested in working a standard nine-to-multiple task.

It was actually clear that I wasn’t going to do well if I sat in front of a computer screen all day barely moving our body.

I am a much greater fan of getting some physical exercise & seeing current sights every day. I don’t assume I would be pleased reporting to an office for the entire day before I go back home. That’s why I decided that I wanted to be a delivery driver when I grew up. It was an straight-forward task, I thought. I never really considered the outdoor temperature or fluctuating air hot & cold temperatures when I was signing on to become a package delivery driver a few years ago, however for whatever reason, the terrible heat & humidity of this area just wasn’t on our mind when I applied for the task. I also did not realize that I would have to wear full length sleeves & pants in the pounding Summer daylight & muggy air. Now, every day I spend hours jumping out of the ice chilly delivery truck & into the brutally hot outdoor air. I run up to the front stoop of every apartment drenched in sweat before I instantly head back to our air conditioned labor truck & breathe a sigh of relief as the Ice Cold air washes over me. This constant back & forth with uncomfortable outdoor air hot & cold temperatures & powerful A/C in the truck is really exhausting. I assume I would absolutely be sick a lot less often if our proposal wasn’t constantly fluctuating from hot to cold. Maybe an office task isn’t so bad.
