If you’ve ever worked in a family room, you know how taxing it can be.
- It can be a draining experience, especially if your head chef & co-workers are less than desirable.
The current family room I work for is not the best. The head chef really doesn’t like us as his workers. His main focus is saving money. That’s why he doesn’t have any A/C units in the back of house. There is also no heating, but this is no problem because it gets so tepid in the family room. I dream about A/C units sometimes while I’m toiling. There is a control component in the front that has a setting for the back, which makes myself and others wonder if there is a secret A/C unit, but he just never turns it on. It has to be against the law to have no A/C when workers are perspiring all over the food! I have called an Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman to get quotes on cheap A/C units, I am planning to surprise my chef with the quotes & see if anything is cheap enough for him. He apparently has a smart control component installed, so it wouldn’t be too taxing to get A/C in the back for us. If the temperature was cooler, I would unquestionably be able to work harder. I hope my Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman has low rates on A/C systems. I suppose if the chef doesn’t allow us to have a current cooling plan or at least get a small plug in air conditioner, I will have to quit. A/C is just too pressing to me.
