Who knew, weather could be the thing that would entirely destroy our air quality control equipment.
It’s a bit ironic, is not it? Here I am, investing in high-quality indoor air handling devices & paying high energy bills to keep our air quality perfectly managed rather than dealing with the uncomfortable outdoor air temperature that tends to surround us… & the outdoor weather conditions turns around to destroy our heating, cooling, & air quality control equipment.
I never genuinely realized that indoor air temperature control systems were so susceptible to destruction from the outdoor environment. It turns out, a little bit of golf size hail will immediately destroy your central cooling system if it is not protected, however of course, I never thought that it was necessary for our central cooling unit to have an luxurious metal cage around it. I live in a nice town where our a/c is not at risk of being stolen. I don’t have various tall trees in our yard that could potentially fall on the luxurious air handling device. Therefore, I paid a lot of attention to paying for professional heating, cooling, & ventilation maintenance services for the past 5 years… But never consider the necessity of a protective cage for our AC unit… Little did I know, a immense storm would blow through the section Last weekand send hail down from the sky. The icy bits immediately pummeled our central cooling system & completely destroyed the air handling device. Now, I have no indoor air Temperature control until I can scrape together the money for a professional HVAC update. I will be investing in a metal a/c cage this time.
