Is it worth an air cleaner?

I have entirely gotten into cooking.

I love messing around with cooking oils, spices & odd dressings, then making a dish have its own flare is just so fun.

I recently have tried our hand at seafood. There are so many odd kinds of seafood & you can season them easily interestingly. I recently made scallops & found that searing them in a pan is best; Oven baked doesn’t entirely have that flavor & on a grill they char too easily. The only negative to the frying pan idea is the smell. The fishy smell gets into our indoor air pollen levels. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C idea is operating & sucks that smell into the HVAC duct. The series of air ducts allows the fish smell to go from room to room. I dislike that anytime I cook in a frying pan our whole house reeks. I have looked up tricks online to stop the smell however nothing entirely helps. I am loosely thinking about getting some kind of air cleaner. I found that there are air cleaners that install right into the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment. As the Heating, Ventilation & A/C operates, the air cleaner removes the foul smells from the air quality. That would be ideal since I don’t want to stop cooking seafood in a frying pan. The cost isn’t too bad but I will want a Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional doing the replacement. I wouldn’t want to mess it up. Is the expense worth not having a odory beach house for a few days? The fish smell eventually goes away. I just need to disinfect & open some windows.
