Adding heated flooring to the powder room

I gutted our powder room down to the plywood plus studs.

I idea to redo everything in the space.

I figure that I have the money, time plus I won’t want to go back plus do something later. I have grand plans for the powder room. I want to have a floor to ceiling window that lets in lots of light. I want marble tile plus a glass surround shower. I also am going to Springtime for a wonderful quality vanity plus a toilet that has better flushing power than I am used to. One thing that has come up in the process is heated flooring. I believe it might be worth adding this extra step in the flooring process plus cost on top of the bill, and right now I need to add stone board before I even believe of tile. Before setting the tile down, I could add electric heated mats to the powder room. Then I would site tile over top plus the heating idea would be at our feet. At night when I went to the powder room, I would have toasty toes. After our morning shower, I could step out to the heated tile. Radiant heating operates silently plus it is a cleaner idea due to it being electric. No heated air is wasted rising to the ceiling plus due to the mats, there are no cold spots. The idea is efficient, easy to install plus available in any hardware store. The only snag is the price tag on it. It will double our flooring cost plus I will need to take more time on the floor, how long do I want to live with a gutted powder room?
